The Shutterbugs have been invited to participate in a photo walk this Sunday. The following is from Ralph
Plans for a rather impromptu photo walk are coming together for this Sunday, October 16. Our destination is the Montour Preserve and Lake Chillisquaque near Washingtonville. Some early birds know that the best shooting will be first thing in the morning as the fog is lifting off the lake and the wildlife is moving. Others with Sunday morning plans are still welcome to join us as the day progresses. The hiking trails around the lake are easy, level and of various lengths. Everyone is invited. If carpooling is needed from Williamsport, we should be able to coordinate that. Otherwise, we will plan on starting from the Goose Cove parking lot which is behind the Visitor’s Center on Preserve Road. http://www.pplweb.com/NR/rdonlyres/534086B3-4425-450D-8D29-27F6EA1077B4/0/map_montour_overview_large.jpg
The idea for this came from participants of the Williamsport Community Darkroom’s Pinhole Camera Workshop. For anyone who would like to play with Lomo, vintage, medium or large format film cameras, the Darkroom will be loaning cameras and providing film. I’ll plan to meet anyone interested at the parking lot at 10AM and again at 2PM. There is also the option to shoot black and white film and hand-color the images using Marshall’s Oils. Free darkroom time and supplies will be available for anyone shooting black and white film.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to mention if carpooling is needed.
