The monthly meeting starts at 6:00 pm. The program will be a critique of the photos hanging on the wall. Hope to see you there!
Hi,remember the Shutterbugs are meeting a week early this month. This Monday November 21st at 6:00 pm.
I think we have a great program lined up this month; macro photography and photo stacking.
This from the presenter himself, Quinn Kirk:
Come One, Come All.... to the Nov 21st, 2011 meeting of the Susquehanna Valley Shutterbugs at 6pm at the Taber Museum. Not only will you have the pleasure of regular meeting must haves with our fearless leader Kevin Stroble at the helm, but you will see a presentation from SVS member Quinn Kirk on Macro Photography and a technique called Focus Stacking. There will be a short discussion of general macro photography techniques and equipment, a review of focus stacking, example photos, examples of two different stacking methods/software products and LIVE SHOOTING!! Yes, you read that right, we're gonna go live. And, nothing makes you feel better about your own photography than getting to see someone else make embarrassing mistakes live on stage! This should be an informative and fun session- we're hoping for laughs and questions! If there is something specific you'd like addressed, please e-mail me (Quinn) prior to the session at: firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll try to make sure I cover it.
Hope to see you there!
